Getting to Ireland

When you have decided to visit Ireland for business, education or relaxation, and need to make arrangements to travel here, the process is very straightforward.

We have excellent international airports at Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Waterford and Belfast with connections worldwide, including to Moscow during the summer months, with many options for connecting flights from Russia that will take you to our shores.

As Ireland is not part of Schengen, an Irish visa issued by the Embassy of Ireland Consulate in Moscow is required. You can also travel to Ireland on a UK visa which has been validated by UK Border Control within the last 6 months (N.B. a UK transit visa is required for connections to Ireland through the UK, even if you have a valid travel visa to Ireland ).

The online visa application process for Irish visas is straightforward. Passports can be submitted by post, making visas for applicants from the regions of Russia much simpler. Please find further information here.
